Hi Friends,

I am at currently Australia but processing my canada immigration file from Delhi India. I got  medical Examination papres from Canada Immigration with a list of Indian doctors. But I am currently at Australia. So I asked to immigration if I can get medical exam at Aus. they were agreed but they said me to ensure that Medical reports need to be arrived at New-Delhi, India Embassy. But as we all know doctor has to send the reports at New delhi. So I asked here at Aus to doctor about it and he told that he has to send the reports first at Singapore office and then that office will notify to relevant visa office in New delhi. Actually I am little afraid that in transit if reports are lost or so ? Has anyone before this gone through such process. Please share experiences and thoughts...

Thank you,

If your medical report is sent by DMP in Australia to Singapore, there can be possible  delay for reaching the report in New Delhi office or even it can get misplaced in Singapore office because your file is in New Delhi. As you are the one paying the courier charges and medical examination fee to the Australian DMP, why he cannot send the report to New Delhi instead of Singapore. However,  you try another DMP in your area. Perhaps he may agree to listen to your request. But if every one is following the same procedure of sending the report to Singapore, you have to get the medical done in India.

Agreed. This is the best way to ensure your app is not delayed.

hi baljinsi,
You can get your medicals done where ever you want just check this link to find nearest one:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medicalinfo.aspx?CountryID=2035&CountryName=Australia

Tell him that your visa office is new delhi and show him the address where the medical report has to send.

I too did the same, i am in india and my visa office is london i asked my doctor to send the report to london she agreed for that and I paid the courier charges.

there wont be any problem just request him, tell him that you are near to your dead line of submitting the documents.

regards,
saleem
