hello all!

i sent my application to CIO with few mistakes and now i wana fix it...i wana know what shud i do....

1. send the CIO copy and mention the mistakes on cover letter...
2. send 2 application copies to VO...one is CIO copy other is corrected application package + cover letter
3. or any other way

pplease reply i m about to send doc to VO n confused :s :S S: S: s: s

Well as you haven't got any file or ref number so it could be difficult at this stage. If the mistakes are not something that can lead to refusal than wait untill you get 1st AOR and than submit your edited forms again to your local CHC. If there are major mistakes than do the same as you were thinking to do.

Agree with ahmadtajwer. Just want to add my thoughts.

With the corrected application you should send the letter mentioning the changes on the application and the reason for the changes to local visa office. Then there won't be any problem and as far as you present valid reason it won't affect your case negatively.

Please follow this procedure. Write a cover letter and mention what sort of mistakes you did in the previous application. Therefore, you are submitting the new form. I believe CHC, London will accept that. I did the same in the past and they did accept. But it was not application form, something about the docs.

when you first submitted your application to CIO you might have downloaded guide lines that came with that.
if you check guidelines that came with application package for FSW then on page 22 it says

(1) make two photocopies of original forms

(2) sign the original forms and send them to CIO

(3) photocopy 1. if the cio advise you to send a complete application to visa office then submit your fist set of photocopied documents with your original signature to the visa office. if applicable make sure to include a letter explaining any changes in your application since your initial submission.

(4) photocopy 2. keep the second set for your personal records.

yes sherrry00 thats correct. i do have the print out of guide lines which i download before filling the application forms for FSW. you only have to sign the 1 set of photocopies with your original signature (not photocopied signature) and a cover letter explaining changes

i am doing that myself as well. i am sending one set of photocopies with original signature and a cover letter.
