Called the FBI this morning, they said they are having a very high amount of record requests this summer. Mine should apparently be mailed out no later than July 5th. Altogether about an 8 week turnaround. |

It's been 2 weeks since my card was charged. I hope it comes soon. I REALLY hope there wasn't an issue with my prints. The FBI site did change from 6 weeks to 8 weeks turnaround though. I think I'll call tomorrow if they aren't in the mail just to ease my mind!

It's one for inquiries on background checks, I had trouble finding it, my husband found it....304-625-3878...keep following the directions till it lets you speak to a customer service rep....it was pretty easy, the lady was nice and looked up my name pretty fast...just told me it would be mailed out no later than the 5th, and that it would be regular mail, about 3 days.

I called today and she had that "I'm so tired of answering these calls" attitude. Told me it was processing and had no idea if my prints were good or not and I wouldn't be able to find out until they mailed me.

July 8th will be 8 weeks since I mailed it but she said something that they didn't open it til almost 2 weeks later, so I could be looking at 2 more weeks....if they don't increase the time again. Grr! LOL

That would really suck  I've been so anxious the past month checking the mailbox for it...all ready to app, just need that damn clearance! I'm glad she was able to tell me "mailed back to me no later than July 5th"...that's at least made me a bit more relaxed the past few days...we'll see how good the fbi is about deadlines! |

It needs to get to CPC-M by that time. Once it reaches CPC-M by that time, then it is good for a year after the date it was issued. |
