Hi, I just want to ask if anybody here knows where can I renew my Visa? I arrived here in Canada Nov 2007 for a 2-yr contract. My Visa and work permit will expire Oct 2009. However, I changed my employer and didn't finished my 2-yr contract. I got another job so I was issued of a new work permit that will expire in 2010. My problem is, I might need to go back for a vacation in my home country this year and I'm thinking where to renew my visa that will expire this coming October. Do I have to do it outside of Canada?

Yes, you have to apply outside of Canada at one of the Consulate offices.

Check this link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp

You can go to the nearest Consulate office (in your case one of the six Consulate offices in US) or you can mail your application as well (mailing takes longer time).
