what do u think is better?

im going back to my home country and enroll in a caregiver course?
or just get job experience as a physical therapist there and then apply for PNP later on?

because i am just thinking, if you will apply for a work permit as caregiver it will just take a few mos compare if i apply as pHysical therapist i have to passed the examination in canada right?it will take me a long time besides i dont have any experiences in Physical therapy field..

please help me..

The answer to the question which is better for you can not be answered by anybody else.  If you don't mind working as a live-in caregiver, you can do that for 2 years, then apply for residency.  If you do physiotherapy, you will need to get licensed like you said.  There could be other ways of coming over, maybe you could go to school here.

Correction Caregivers are now waiting for 1-2 years before getting approval to come to Canada from the Philippines

thanks for the advices Leon and Bcguy..
maybe the best way for me is to go home and get a 1 year experience in physical therapy then apply for FSW..
i hope my occupation would be in the 38 occupation priority list..

another question:
 does it mean i have to get exactly one year experience before i submit my application?
or once i get the job, start to submit the application already?

To apply as an FSW, you need one year experience.

now my last question is if im planning to go back in my home country,is it advisable that before i leave usa to have my fingerprinting done so that in case in the future that if canada will ask for my fingerprints i will present it to them?

or just wait for canadian embassy to ask for the fingerprints here in u.s?but the problem is if im already in philippines and i cannot go back here again..=(

If you have lived in the US for more than 6 months, when you apply as FSW, you need a police report from the FBI.  You can get your fingerprints taken in any country, send them to the FBI by mail and get your police report back.  I had to do this myself.  I walked into a police station in my homeland and asked them if they could take my fingerprints.  They were very happy to do it because it's not so often that they get to take the fingerprints of non criminals.  In your country, maybe it's not the police who will do it but surely you can find a place that can do it for you.  Here you can find instructions on how to order your FBI clearance: http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/fprequest.htm

thats good to hear that i can request police report here in US even if im in my home country already..
i can do that later if they already need the police certificate..
