Hi All,

I sent my intial application and my credit card got charged on 24th august and am still waiting for AOR number.
in the mean time, i am in the process of collecting the full documents.
i heard that i will have 4 months of lead time to submit entire docs: if "yes" : if i send the docs before these 4 months: will the VO people start assessing my application or will they still wait for the lead 4 months and then when the 4 months period gets completed, they will start reviewing?

i am confused :-(
 also, what is the next step after reviewing the complete application and how many months does it take for them to respond after full docs are reviewed?

They will start working on it right away. The 4 months deadline is for you to collect all documents, 4 months are hardly enought for people who need to get PCC from FBI, it takes about 3 months now a days. Anyways, if you have your documents ready, just wait for your first AOR and then send your documents with a copy of AOR.

- Application to CIC

- waiting for approx 2 month, get 1st AOR and suggestion to send doc in 120 days

- once you submit full document, you may get 2nd AOR in 2-4 months time (late if VO is Buffalo, NY; earlier if VO is ND,India) (status - Received by VO)

- Once you get 2nd AOR, you may need to wait for approx 3-4 months for being "In Process" status from "received by VO"   
OR
- your file will get t/f to other VO (in 3-4 month time)

- Approx. within a month You will get either suggestion to submit additional documents or get medical request

- Once medical + PRP is on the way, Background + security check will continue; which may take 3 months to 12 months time or even more; depending on your profile, origin country and many more other factors...

- Once security is done, VO may ask to deposit PP for stamping....
