PLEASE HELP...CHC, NEW DELHI

I have sent three case specific enquiries and two faxes to CHC, New Delhi, as my passport is expiring on 01-05-2011. I have not get any reply from CHC, New Delhi.

Can I personally go there to collect my passport?

If yes, then how?

I really need your opinion.............help!!!! :-

According to your thread, your passport has already been expired.

so what if your passport expire they still can give you visa on that passport and then you can get new passport and attached together and travel what you worry about. this is the law,,,,,,

Thanks belize for the reply, but CHC has to stamp visa on my passport before it expires. So, I can easily go for a new one in its validity period.

I have seen cases where PP were expiring in next 6 months and CHC called applicant and asked if they wanted to submit a new PP or would they be fine with a visa that is valid till PP validity. So in a nutsheel Visa validity is driven by PP validity for canadian PR visa

If your PP is expiring on 1st May 2011, CHC may not stamp Visa on this PP and may ask for new PP. In any case my recommendation is to apply for new PP at the earliest

Hi Ankit, I have sent three case specific enquiries and two faxes to get my passport back before its expiry. So I can apply for a new one under tatkal scheme.
