I will try to be positive here, but I am not sure there is much to be positive about. I would first suggest that you need a really really good immigration lawyer who can impart solid advise on this matter.
Now that the visa has been issued, you are now responsible for your exhusband. And you have successfully frauded the canadian government and the immigration process. I think you are in great big ka-ka right now. I am not making a judgement by saying that. Just stating how I interpret the facts you have laid out for us. If you had followed the rules, your immigration status would not be in jeopardy right now. I think your current boyfriend is worried how he could be implicated in this. If no one finds out, then you would be lucky, however, I think when your ex sponsors his current girlfriend, this whole thing will come into the light. And moreover, you will have to live your life fearful of immigration finding out and risk being deported back to your country. And with so many other people involved, it only takes one person to tip immigration off. Perhaps the girlfriend of your exhusband gets in a fight with your husband, it takes only one call to tip immigration off. As for what you should do, I think you need to talk to a lawyer. Good luck.

A coworker of mine married a girlfriend of his to bring her in to Canada but shortly after she was here, they divorced. A year later he married another woman and immigration is not beating down his door or anything. However, it is true that you are responsible for your ex husband when you sponsor him. If he decides to take any social assistance for the next 3 years, you will have to pay for it.

I think you should trust your lawyer. What else can you do? Turn yourself in? You are right. You are legally married to your ex-husband. You have however commited misrepresentation to Canada Immigration. I don't see where your boyfriend has any responsibility in this unless he is part of the application for the sponsorship of your ex. and daughter. Your husband has culpability with you in this. A very good reason why he should be willing to keep his end of the bargain. As well as his girlfriend. Consult your lawyer before each step you take in this matter until everything is resolved. I can't blame your boyfriend for being upset about this. He has been placed in in the middle of a mess of lies. You may have just traded your boyfriend for your daughter. I know you don't want that to happen but if it does happen, it is probably a good trade for your daughter in the long run. I hope everything works out well for you and your boyfriend and your daughter. Your ex-husband appears to be a selfish jerk!
Good luck!!
