Liva, I don't have similar experience for getting out of the country without paying my dues. But the answer is very simple.
If you have to pay some one, you will never forget their address and phone number. Because there will not be peace of mind when some money borrowed is not paid back.  Call the person and ask to which bank account the money needto be send.  You should send to his bank account only for proof of payment.

If you have to pay the unpaid bills to any Credit Card company, you can call the number shown on the credit card or check their website. It will say how you should send the unpaid bills with penalty and other charges. Please clear it early otherwise they will haunt you, where ever you go.

Thankyou jojok9 for your reply.
You are right about the credit cards. Because the banks in UAE ask for security cheques b4 they issue the credit cards, they bounced the undated cheque after i left UAE. I was never a defaulter during the time I was there, always paid my dues on time. But unfortunately i lost my job suddenly and had to exit the country.

I am ready to pay back and I had contacted the bank but they are not willing to negotiate. Thay are asking for 10 times the amount i had taken with interest. Moreover they said you clear your debt but we cannot guarantee your PCC.
Now what should I do? I am scared the bank will fool me after I pay that much amount. They might not give the no dues certificate.
I am really in a mess. I cannot go back and pay directly because I have heard of many people being arrested at the airport for credit card default. Its the UAE laws............which are making things difficult. If the bank hadn't bounced my security cheque i could have easily gone back and found a new job and cleared my debts.

Please if anyone has any other suggestions, it will be appreciated.
Thanks

Dear - ask any human rights organization in your area to help you out with this situation as they have strong links every where. tell them that you want to pay the your outstanding dues as all over the world due to recession people caught in this situation. Ask them that you need not only PCC as a proof of inocence but also NOC ( no objection certificate ) from bank that you have ended your relation clear.

This is very important for your future. As you might not get clearence to land in any country because of this.
