Hi everyone!!! Please help me to find out an answer to all my queries....I received a letter from Immigration asking me go home because my application was refuse. I just stayed in Canada for 1 year and 8 months because my passport expired that's why they didn't gave me 2 years for my WP. I'm already here in Philippines because i dont want to have some trouble with Immigration when I come back.

My employer is willing to help me for PNP thats why i already process my papers in Canada before I left.

Is there someone who can help me answer my questions.....Do I still have chances to go back in Canada? Because I know I already had record in Immigration. Please help me to find out. Thank you....Smiley

You certainly can apply for any immigration category as long as you qualify, they refused your visa but didn't deport you, you should be ok to go ahead with your PNP.

Thank you guys for helping me figure this out...Smiley....I'm just worried about my application...How about an application for Temporary Work Permit? Because I think LMO application is more faster than PR apllication. You think guys Immigration in Vancouver will give me another chance for having a Work permit using LMO? Thank you so much guys...

Hi Roselee,

I'm sorry to hear that refusal on your application.. but please, don't lose hope. You can certainly return back in Canada by applying Work Permit regardless of refusal on your 1st attempt of application for PR. You have mentioned that your employer is willing to help you under PNP application. I would suggest that they may work out the Work Permit application first so that you can return back to Canada as soon as possible, then they may try again the application under PNP. Otherwise, they may also give a try to process your PR under AEO ( Arrange Employment ).

Hope this may help.. However, what was the reason of refusal of your application? Would you mind share your experience to us for our pointers please?

Thank you.

Hi guys thank you so much for replying..Smiley...I am a Temporary Foreign Worker in Canada. From April 15, 2009 but suddenly my passport expired last August 16, 2010 that's why Immigration from Vancouver gave me a WP until July 16, 2010. But we dont know that I just need to pass the photocopy of my new passport so that I can have the rest of my 2 years. Because they told me that I still need an LMO but the problem is our LMO application was refused thrice. After that I applied for restoration last August 12, 2010, I got the result last November 10, 2010 stating that my application was refused and then they still giving me another 90 days to apply again. I did my best but they gave me another letter last November 24, 2010 telling that their first letter was incorrect and telling me already to leave Canada immediately. I was really upset then. That's I went to a Immigration Consultant to help me to appeal but when we phoned CIC they told me that there is no Appeal already because they already sent that letter. I came home December 24, 2010 but my flight was delayed thats why we left Canada December 25 but I went in immigration office in Airport to let them know that our flight was delayed because I dont want to get block listed.

I just wanna make sure that I can still come back in Canada. My employer will going to apply for an LMO for me. Guys which is faster...LMO or PNP? I'm just nervous that I might refuse in CIC Vancouver when I come back using LMO because I already have a record from them. I am planning for an LMO application and if ever I pass on that I can continue my PNP in Canada. Please give me advise guys...Smiley..Thank you!!!

LMO is usually faster but you can apply for both.  If your LMO doesn't go through but you have been nominated by a PNP, you can ask the PNP to give you a work permit without an LMO.

hi roselee tnx for the info actually almost same kau ng situation ng husband i share ko narin sau foreign worker din yung mr. ko then nag apply siya ng extension sa vegreville together with the lmo, sa lmo 2 yrs contract siya since 1 yr nlng ang validity ng passport ng mr. ko na appove lang cya ng 1 yr extension kasi base yun sa validity ng passport, so  expired na uli this coming January 4 2011 yung work permit niya since na nominated na kami ng province with employer support no need na ng LMO for the attachment ng WP extension, photocopy lang ng certificate of nomination and confirmation letter coming from the province na nag nominate sa amin. He already submit the application for WP extension last sept. 24 2010 but until now wala pa kami na rereceive from vegreville, worried lang ako kasi nung nag submit siya ng application he forgot to attached the photocopy of certification of nomination and confirmation letter, so late na namin  na submit yung mga supporting documents, were praying na sana na i attached nga sa application ng mr. ko.
for some clarification lng roselee once na nominated ka ng province you still  need to apply for WP kaya lang mas madali na kasi no need na ng LMO yung certificate lng and letter lang coming from the province and employer contract lng mga attachment plus photo copy of valid passport....thats all sana makatulong gudluck appy ka nalang uli sa atin

workpermit should be apply to vegreville if you're in canada, you can't ask for workpermit to the province who nominated to you! the certificate of nomination and confirmation letter  is only the attachment once you apply for work permit extension no need LMO for your info..... thanks

Hi guys...Smiley...Thank you for all the info that you are giving me...I really appreciate it...I'm just worried that if ever my employer can get an LMO...I'm just worried that the CIC in Vancouver might refuse me when i'm already in Vancouver Airport because I already have a record from Immigration about my restoration refusal....You think guys it will affect my application? That's why i am thinking that PNP might be my strong possibility...

And guys I think the Visa Office here in Philippines doesn't want a same process of PNP and LMO, because it might confuse them. And to add....If ever I got a PNP certificate, do I still need to wait for a Work Permit here in Visa Office in Philippines before I can enter Canada? Thanks guys...
