Hi everyone, I have read many posts on this site but it seems like no one has the same country as me.
I'm sponsoring my husband from Kyrgyzstan meaning the processing office is in Moscow, Russia.
They approved me for sponsoring him on May 30th, 2011
Then on my E-case this are the messages I have

We received your application for permanent residence on June 4, 2011.

We started processing your application on October 11, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

Now, please someone tell me where exactly are we standing with these updates, are we close to finish or not?
When I looked at the processing times average on the immigration websites it said 8 months for 80% of the cases. Now it has been updated today and it said 10months for 80% of the cases. I've been away from my husband for months...it's devastating to see that the time had extended.

Please someone help!  Sad

Well, being "in process" is always a good thing. It is quite difficult to say how long it will take, but if you have a straight forward and complete application there is a good chance that you would be finished well before the stated time. You could also order your CAIPS notes to see what is going on with your application, but I would wait awhile before you do that as they have only been processing your application for about 7 weeks.

How long would you suggest I wait, until I start get impatient and begin crying over this.
You see we've been waiting for the day he lands in Canada for 1 year and 8 months...and its getting the worst of me...drives me crazy on most days.

I understand, it's tough. Waiting without knowing what's going on is the worst part. You can order them anytime, I just suggested you wait a bit, since they have not been working on your app that long, and I don't know how much they have done, but you can go ahead and order them if you need to.
