Hi Friends !

I am a new in this forum . I want to apply as a FSW. I am electrical engineer.Can any body help me for my following quations?

(1) My Job title is not matching with NOC occupation list but my
all main duties are matching with one of the latest occupation
list. (9212-Super visor-power plant)-Can I aplly with my current job title and main duties as
per NOC ?

(2) I have not cleared my IELTS but wants to apply first.What should
I write in the question 6 of IMM 0008-schedule-3 i.e. have u
taken approved test to access your proficiency in english ? If I
write "No" than what explanation should I write.

As long, your duties are under 38 list, you are eligible for apply under FSW-1. About IELTS, you can explain in one letter about your date of IELTS when you are going to take it, any paid fees or any document from examination center would be great to attach, i hope it will work. Let see some one else advise.

please write in regular basis as 9212 category applicants

After 26 June 2010, CIO is not going to accept any application without IELTS TRF. No amount of explanation is going to work.

When this querry was asked in March 2009 the rules were different.

but its sure that without IELTS score they will not accept the application,

bye the way where r u from, mean to say coutry of origin and state,

Amit,
        First thing before u appply is that u need to have IELTS score card, no point in discussing if u dont have that.
SEcond, U can apply under any NOC provided ur job duties are matching with that mentioned on HRDC website,
