Are all the Passport request sent through email? That is what I heard but I want to make sure because I barely check my email.

It depends on your Visa office. Please refer to the following link and look for our member Nitroxn.

He recently recd PPR, Med and additional doc request by postal mail from NDVO.

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/search-results/-t49421.0.html;msg670659;topicseen#msg670659

For London VO:

Refer to the link below and check Wenstumped's post # 42809

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t49421.0.html;msg946533#msg946533

So, if you could give details about your VO then probably members can help you better.
The latest (20th Aug) from London VO: Check saqisaqi's post: He received by Registered mail

Definitely not, certainly not for all visa offices.

Post-June-2010 at CHC London most applicants got their request by regular mail. We got ours by email - so if varies, I suspect just on the personal preference of the immigration officer reviewing the application.

Also I would recommend attending a CIIP course after you get med requests!

Most certainly, it is easy if you have a credit card.
