Please explain Full process of PNP BC or Ab step by step

Could someone please explain the full process of the PNP AB or BC..Step by Step
Do you get a temp work permit first ?
On that temp permit  will your spouse recive work permit as well?
What stage does the PR comes  in ?
Please clarify the steps please..im confused

I am not really the best to answer about the h1b program since I don't know enough about it but for that I know you first fill out a 1 page form and send it in to find out if you qualify, then they let you know if to send them more data.  If they decide to nominate you, they will send you a provincial nominee certificate.  Then you can do an application for PR and send it to CIC along with your nomination certificate.  When you apply for PR, you include your spouse, kids etc.

If you are not an a h1b visa in the US but were coming as a temporary worker and doing it that way, you do not have to do PNP right away, you would need a job offer and temporary work permit to start with.  As a skilled worker, you can bring your spouse with you and the spouse gets an open work permit and can take any job.  You will have to deal with your employer to apply for PNP with you.  Some employers might want to see that you are a good worker and they want to keep you before they decide to do all that paperwork, could be 3 to 6 months of work before they will help you apply.  After that, you would get a PNP certificate and then you can apply to CIC for PR and send your certificate with your application.

So you are saying that after a job offer i will recieve a temporary work permit? Whats the duration of that work permit? And  you are saying that with that temp work permit i cancarry my family  (spouse & kid) who will also get a work permit.

After three months of working  with the employer i can apply for PNP with them or some other employer. Then I can apply for pnp.... is that it?

I think you can do it that way if you are a skilled worker and if your employer agrees but what is the benefit to the employer to do that?  It's hard enough to get a job offer without expecting your employer to fill out even more paperwork for PNP and wait for you to get your PR when you might not even decide to start working there after all.  Or maybe you'll start working there and you don't like it and quit or they don't like you and fire you.  That would be a lot of paperwork for nothing which is why I am not surprised that my employer doesn't do PNP for anybody until they've worked there for 6 months.

You can call the PNP people and clarify this if you want.  If you can find an employer who is willing to apply for PNP for you right away, good for you.  At http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/immigrate/pnpcandidatefaq.html#20 it says that the employer may expect you to work a probation period before applying:

How long must I be employed with my Alberta employer before the Alberta PNP can nominate me?

If an employer has a probationary period for their employees, a candidate must first successfully complete this probationary period prior to nomination. Otherwise, the Alberta PNP requires that:

    * As a Skilled Worker, you must have accepted an offer for permanent, full-time employment with your Alberta employer. You may require a valid work permit for certain occupations.
       
    * As an International Graduate, you must have accepted an offer for permanent, full-time employment with your Alberta employer, have a valid work permit and be employed for at least six (6) months with your Alberta employer.

My coworkers who are coming on temporary work permits as skilled workers normally get a permit for 2 years.  It is not a big deal to get them extended if they want to.  Many of them bring spouses and kids.  When applying for a work permit as a skilled, you can apply for a permit for your spouse as well.  It will be an open work permit so your spouse can take any job.  If the employer decides to help them apply for PNP, it takes 6 to 15 months to get PR or so I was told by the PNP program when I called them the other day.  They also said that after you apply for PNP with one employer, you can not change employment until you get your PR.  If you do, your application will be cancelled and you will have to apply again with the new one.

Ok i see. So  you are saying its best if i apply for the temporary work permit then after 6 months apply for PNP.

And what if the work permit expires while processing the PNP/PR programme?

I didn't say it was best.  I said if you can find an employer who will do PNP for you right away, good for you.

If you can't, you can try to get a temporary work permit and apply for PNP later.  It is completely up to the employer if he lets you do PNP right away, after 3 months probation, after 6 months like mine or even never.  If he doesn't want to do it, you have to work for 2 years, renew your work permit and apply under the Canadian experience class.

If your work permit is about to expire you renew it.  That is common sense whether you are applying for PNP or not.  If you let it expire without doing anything, you then become illegal and can be deported.
