please advice...tence situation

dear friends,
i am writing for my brother: who does not have an account in this forum.
I did my medicals in August 2010, but I've not received any communication asking me to submit my passport for visa satmping. The last communication i received from CHC was on 23rd March 2011 which asked for submission of updated copy of schedule - 1 ,background declaration and copy of employment documents. and I did that immediately.

Since my medicals are expiring in Aug 2011, i tried to follow up with CHC and the response I got was that "We await the results of the routine background enquiries and we will write to you when we are in a position to do so". I wonder why it is taking so long?

Guys what are the options that I have as per my  current status???

Dear. u hv no option but wait. Repeated follow up queries will not serve any purpose. This has happened to many applicants. Positive element is that they active on your case.BG checks normally takes around 6 months.

Hi,

I am also waiting for my PPR even after 8 months of meds.Will you like to explain in how many countries your brother has lived since age of 18.Moireover was he subjected to any med furtherance test as these factors could delay the case.
