Please advice - where/how do I start?

Hello

I am new to this forum. I am keen to migrate to Canada (Vancouver) with my family. Having gone through  the various websites, I have only managed to understand the point system (min 67 points) in order to be eligible.

I understand that there are various ways to migrate, and I think ours would be under the Federal Skilled Worker scheme.

Problem is - where do we start? In order to get a job in canada (in order to gain the extra 10 points), we must be physically present in canada. But do  we need some kind of work visa in order to secure a job?If so, how does one apply for this pass/visa?

We are starting from scratch. Can someone please help us with procedures? Presumably my husband needs to go over to canada first and secure a job, then PR(?) before he can bring us over?
