Hi All,

I submitted TRV to buffalo visa office on May 20, 2011.
When i sent a mail asking for an enquiry abt my status: I got the below reply:

Your passport was returned June 17, 2011 via Express Post xxxxxxxxxx.

Canadian Consulate General Buffalo
Immigration Section

what does this mean?Huh?
does that mean it was rejected and visa was not stamped...and it was returned...
i am very much worried abt the word ' returned"
does that mean anything negative???

Please advice..
Canadapost is on strike adding fuel to the fire for which i have to wait till the strike is called off.

"Returned" just means "sent back to you".

I can understand that it was sent back to me.
My question is: does that signify a negative answer or positive??

It doesn't signify either. It just means that your passport was sent back to you. Unfortunately you'll have to wait until you receive it to know if you were approved or not.
