Please advice- Application rejected due to credit card problem

Hi

In morning when I received my application return back due to credit card charge problem so I thought not to apply again because I have already got Work permit for UK.

But I don't know in evening I feel that I must speak against this it is just ridiculous it is not my fault
Then why should take because they did not ask cvv no in form


I have sent fax to them on same day when transaction was declined with
my cvv no but no response.

I have decided to send my application with same credit card no with cvv no and covering letter from
Bank as well as covering letter from me that it is completely their fault neither I m responsible nor bank.


Do you to think it is good idea

If yes then please help me to write cracking cover letter.

sorry to hear this... did u apply under the posts 6/26 rules? when did they try charging ur card?

better try using a bank draft this time...that a safe way

1.  If your NOC is not on the list you are out of luck.
2.  CIO Sydney tried to use your CC and it was declined, that is not their fault, it is a problem between your card and the issuer.  Remember CIO just processes the applications, if they don't get paid, they are not going to process or play around, they refuse and move on to the next application.

and and sent fax to CIO  on    26 August with my CVV no and again one more reminder
fax on 30 August.

I have heard on another forum of users who have again been placed in the processing queue if the mistake with the payment was the fault of CIC.

I guess the issue here is that although it may not be your fault, CIC probably see this that it is not their fault either. Unfortunately they seem keen on failing applications where the NOC is no longer on the list, but it is certainly worth trying to see if you can be placed back in the processing queue.

If this fails, please remember there are other ways to get into Canada as a skilled worker. If you can find an employer to give you an Arranged Employment Option, or you can secure a job with an LMO so you can get a temporary work permit, there you can apply under Category 2. Also depending on your occupation you may be able to get a provincial nomination which will bypass the need for an LMO.

Hi rehaan, sorry to hear about your case. You said that the CIC was not able to withdraw the fee due to absence of CVV. There may be some other problem with your credit card at the time of charging by CIC, because CVV is not required with the appication. I also paid with my credit card ( and many did) and I did not mention my CVV on application at all.

Better pay by draft, I think it is the safest way to pay at this point in time

You can try, and we all wish you all the good luck but as PMM opined, the chances are bleak.
Also, you do not need to send the cvv No.

Please check with your bank on the reasons why the Credit Card couldn't be encashed.

I have spoke many time with bank including bank manager only reason
they give me is invalid CVV no and I have seen my self in bank transaction
system invalid CVV2 was written there and they said how can they deduct
money from your account without entering cvv no, your card is not
with them physically so without cvv not it is not possible.

So i have just send my application again with DHL with CVV no

I completely understand your situation. Similar thing happened to our application. Our application was rejected due to payment decline.

I am completely confused as to what should i do ... since our NOC category has been removed from the list. All the best to you. Hope you get positive response from them.

what is cvv no? I paid CIC through credit card. just gave them 16 digit card no and expiry date. what is this cvv no?

Hello Farhan

CVV no. is the number issued by your bank to authorize transaction for any credit card payment online payment. But it should be ok not to give your cvv number in the application form.
