I am planning to look at option of settling at Windsor, ON due to the fact I need to work in Detroit,MI.
I would appreciate any help with regard to good housing(safe & reliable), School district( for a 9 yr old & 12 yr old). Any info would help.

I was adviced to look for an apartment on www.247apartments.com and/or www.101apartments.com which is a very good and reliable source of information on new housing and where you surely have the freedom to choose how much you are willing to pay and where realtors are very well listed as well.

It's best not to take an apartment for long term unseen.  Go there, stay in a motel for a while and look for housing.  Check the neighbourhoods, ask at the small shops or gas stations around there if it's a safe neighbourhood.  Talk to the neighbours and ask them too and ask them what the schools are like.
