Hi All,

I have finally got my Immigration Visa. I filed my application in 2008 and took 2.5 years to got Visa.

Though , i know that Permanent residents can move anywhere with in Canada , i just want to confirm - In my application i mentioned that i will be settling in Ontario (Toronto) however now i will be landing to Calgary (Alberta). will there be any issue ?

Please note that i have worked in Toronto for almost 3 years and then i came back and now i am offered a job in Calgary from a company whose office is in Toronto.

2nd question : As proof of funds - will the printout of Canadian bank accounts work ?

Please let me know.

For your first question, the answer is yes as long as you're FSW. I also put Ontario in my application but landed without problems in Calgary, March 2011.

For question 2, I used my UK bank statement as proof of fund at the POE and had no problems.

1. U can land anywhere in Canada

2. Though there is no legal issue in showing Bank statement as proof of funds but some applicants had problem during formalities of landing. So advisable to carry DD, Traveller's cheque

gud luk
