Qorax-basement should be fine I think,I heard that it becomes very cold in the basement during winters is that true.
If possible pls email me your number to canaimmi2010  @  gmail.com

1. What difference does it make? U'd have central heating, won't u?
2. There r many who reside in basements - not only here, but in Calgary/Edmonton as well.
3. I know of ppl who have spent a lifetime residing in basements.
4. A friend stayed for 4yrs. With family & kids, before he bought his own abode.

Scarborough
[Aka - "Scare Borough"]

1. The largest neighborhood of Toronto,
2. Older developments - aged housing,
3. Congested streets - parking headaches,
4. The only neighborhood which has 3 divisions (Stns) of Toronto Police, Why?
5. Last yr, the largest predawn operation fetched 84 criminals,
6. Quite a few gangs operate here (but ordinary folks aren't affected much),
7. The Bikers' Gang r a menace,
8. The western side is Closer to U of T (rest r afar to city-main),
9. Some pockets r good, especially the North - nearer to 401(Expressway),
10. Bay View location have multi-million$$$ homes - so is their rental,
11. Locations East - bordering Pickering r Ok, but very far from Downtown (2-3hrs commute),
12. Some areas have cheaper housing, but also the menace that comes thru it,
13. Locations closer to DVP r Ok - advisable for newcomers to reside,
14. Kennedy Street is a safe bet for residential purposes (1.5hrs to downtown),
15. If it has to be Scarborough - nothing wrong with it,
16. If Scarborough is not a must - Avoid, u have better choices!

Think about it!

Qorax

Hi,

Thanks a lot Qorax. We will research other areas like York, Mississauga etc. As you rightly pointed out.... "At the end of the day, what we need a peaceful life".... so better get away from criminals and other maniacs!!!!

The very purpose of immigration to Canada is to get a good life than the existing one!! (not the one in Middle east... which is far far better than home town)... So we feel that we should take the right decision of the area where we are going to settle!!!

thanks again for the info and if we need more info, we will disturb you a little...

All the best...
