Marami jobs dito sa SK. Me mga kakilala ako na dumating last year to work at Wendy's and its true na 6 months nga lang pinag-file na sila for PR.
If you get here via work visa....you have to stick to your contract and work permit. Maraming circumstances kasi na pag naghanap sila ng new job after getting here....inaayawan sila ng prospected employer kasi ayaw magbayad sa new work permit.

Hello datuganol,

Marami ang job opportunities sa saskatchewan pero do not expect na makakakuha ka agad ng job na gusto mo, normally you will start from the ranks and make your way up. Ano category ba ang apply nyo Federal skilled ?

Since you guys never wanted us to partake in the discussion but why write the topic in English? You should have written it in your native tongue and I'd save my stress of even opening it at all! Angry

Hello Right and Pyramid,

The thread is aptly titled "Pinoys to Saskatchewan". If you do not know what a Pinoy is, i suggest you google it..then wait for your common sense to kick in.

Hi Tigerlilly,
The same is true sa Regina, i went there in 2009 on a work permit , pero yung mga colleagues ko na kasabay ko pumunta sa regina, nag file ng SINP after 6 months. so when their work permits expired, renew na lang ng renew until maging PR which does not take long din. Sa case ko kasi, may application na ako under FSW even before i left Manila so i didnt opt to apply for the nominee program. Luckily, na approve na ang PR application namin so here I am , sa motherland, waiting for our stamped passports back then off we go to back Regina. By the way, would you happen to know yung address nung Filipino tambayan dyan, yun bang pinupuntahan ng mga reps ng Phil consulate pag may mga passports renewal, yung katabi ng restaurant... Ive been there once pero i forgot the address, nakisabay lang kasi ako papunta dun. Thanks a lot!

Hello TigerLilly!

Good day! Ang tagal mo na pala sa Saskatoon. I am planning to migrate in Saskatoon pero wala ako kamag-anak dyan. Nag apply kase ako ng Permanent Residency Visa under FSW1. In process na sya. Kaka-tanggap ko lang ng MR last June 28, 2011. Saskatoon is my first choice kahit wala ako kakilala dyan. hehe!

I hope you could help me.

I am hoping for your reply. Or replies from anyone in Saskatoon. I need help.

Thank you very much and God bless!

Kelmolab,

Opo, Fedaral Skilled Worker 1 (FSW1) po. Ready ako to start from scratch, lower(est) position. Cheesy

Hello!

Thank you very much for your reply.

Kahit anong tulong po. Tulad ng matutuluyan pansamantala once we arrived in Saskatoon.

Kahit anong work po basta maka-survive.

God bless!

Hi datuganol,
Yes, marami ang jobs related to auditing and accounting sa Regina, alam mo, it is a growing city. May friend ako na accountant na nag w work sa city hall right now pero she started as a cashier sa Canadian Tire- parang ace hardware sa atin. You cant go wrong sa Regina, it is a very nice little city. mabuti ang mga tao and most importantly, mababa ang cost of living compared to bigger cities. But be prepared sa winter kasi sask is one of the provinces na sobra ang dami ng snow. Pero you will get by, layers of clothing lang ang katapat nyan.
