Thanks for the reply!Does anyone know what would make them allow one to take the registration exam ng walang bridging course? its kinda saddening kase to think that we still need to study 2-3 years before we can actually practice Sad. Would it matter if I already have a USRN license or if my units na ng masteral and years of experience? parang lahat kase ng nababasa ko lahat ng nag aaply nag bridging course.. :"(

I understand the frustration pero depende sa assessment ng CARNA sayo. Most of the students for the BCN have passed NCLEX/CGFNS, hindi nila ino-honor yan dito which is sad kasi back to zero ka talaga. Try mo na lang muna pa-assess  credentials mo and who knows baka diretso ka na CRNE after your SEC assessment. Good luck and God bless.

I have no experience sa IELTS, so di ko talaga mai-compare kung ano mas easy. hehe. I find CELBAN good kasi related sya sa nursing. Nakatulong din na I'm taking the bridging program, Yung mga skills doon medyo nai-apply ko during the speaking test.

hello blistex! ano review materials mo for celban? pwede bang magbridging program kahit di pa nagte-take ng celban? kasi ako di pa ko nagtetake ng celban. so iniisip ko kung pwede din ba ko magbridging program or kailangan pa ako iassess ng carna. sorry medyo nacoconfuse lang ako.

check mo website nila www.celban.org. Puede ka order ng review materials from them. Merong online self-assessment dati pero inaayos nila kaya yung offline self-assess ang puede mo gamitin. Important ang English exam sa bridging program and unless nirequire ka ng CARNA, then saka ka nila i-accommodate, since pahirapan kuha ng seat for the courses. If you're planning to apply sa CARNA. check www.nurses.ab.ca sa mga requirements for IEN. Nsan ka ba ngayon twentytwo?

while waiting po sa processing ng papers for CRNE, nag work po ako as Health care aide. you just have to look for hospitals or nursing homes that will not recquire health care aide certificate dahil RN na sa PInas. magandang experience po un before maging RN.

nurse muna ako for 2 months before the exam, kc dun na talaga ako natuto.

Hi jaraxle316...

I would like to ask if paano po kayo naka work as a graduate nurse? ano po ung mga requirements?

anong province po kayo sa canada?

thank you po...

I also applied for registration in CNO as a registered nurse last August 2010 and received reply from them November 2010. All documents including verification of employment and reference, verificationof course completion and transcript, and verification of registration were all sent directly to their office from the official sources in an envelope bearing the letterhead, seal, or stamp of the sender.

At that time, I was required to submit the baccalaureate equivalency table (BET) which I sent  June 2011. I only got their decision on my application last May 2012. One year din akong naghintay. Sa ngayon, they don't require BET; only additional nursing education/experience to prove that one's education is comparable to the Ontario nursing program.

It is a wise move to start applying now...good luck... Smiley

Binigay lang sa akin ng school yung envelope with transcript and mailed it myself. Sa PRC naman, I paid for the postage fee. They even offered to send it via courier. Kaso mahal ang fee so I opted for the regular mail.
