AFAIK any bank can issue demand draft in any currency as long as u get it from their main/head office. Just notify your local branch about this because they're the one who will facilitate this for you. Sorry but you can't get foreign draft from any bank if you do not hAve an existing account from them for at least 6 months. Hope that clears something.

In my case, i was able to secure a canadian BD from BPI with just a week old account.. Maybe I was just lucky, lol..

Thanks to many forumates na nag guide sakin to our application....thanks to god all mighty for hearing our prayers...dumating na po un email about our application.

As we all know two times po ako nahingan ng additional documents and all of the docu that they requested, were able to send...nag email po ako nung june 21 asking about the documents and the status of our application. Heres what the vo manila emailed to me.

Dear pinay,

This is in response to your email dated June 21, 2012.
 
We acknowledge receipt of your documents on May 23, 2012.  Please be informed that your medical instructions and request for payment of Right of Permanent Residence Fees for you and your spouse has been sent on June 12, 2012.
 
I hope this clarifies your concern.

Problem nga lang po hehehhe meh konti kasi glitch.... As my hubby and i went ask our postman, wala pa daw sha na rerecieved na letter from manila...tinulungan na namin sha mag buglat buti na lang mabaet heheheh wala talaga letter from vo manila.. So we decided na email na lang vo manila and ask if they could email to us the content of the letter.

Anyway ill keep u posted kung ano man po respond nila.

taga san kang province?if nasa manila ka lang..usually 3-10 days andyan na yan..pero if province,mga 15-20days..be careful din sa post office ng pinas..grabe..nawala na sa transit un package sakin ng cno..sent last april 2,2012 pa daw pero until now wala pa..hinanap na namin sa post office,wala hindi na nila makita at aminado sila na nawawala tlga un ibang snail mails..hayy..so ayun..still waiting for another copy from CNO..sana this july maipadala na nila sa add namin sa canada..nweis..

try to wait a few more days..with in 5-6 days dapat andyan na yan sainyo..but if wala parin ng more than a week..try to go nlng sa embassy and drop a letter mismo sa box nila if you can just personally get a 2nd copy from them.they will call u with in 1 day..as of now..chill and enjoy..

Good evening po san pa po ba bank pwedeng magbayad ng processing fee for fsw? except sa bpi? kase po sa PNB and RCBC e wala po sila canadian dollars e. and kung sa credit card nman po pwede po ba makigamit lang sa credit card ng iba? thanks pls help po

PNB main office near Mall of Asia lang ang nakakapag issue ng cad draft, that's where i got mine. they charged me 7$ coz i maintain an account with them. BPI issues cad draft too. u can use cc just make sure notified ang banko na u are expecting an $$$ amount to be charged para di nila idecline....

Thanks for taking time to read my post. I wanna ask some things regarding the application process. I am a nurse with complete documents. I am planning to submit an application under the FSW this coming July 2012. I wanna know when is the best time to validate data in the website and when to send it to VO, on July 1 or Before July 1, 2012? And which VO is better, London VO or Manila VO? Last query, do we need to be a Canadian Board of Nursing member before applying under the FSW category? Thanksso much for the help!

just make sure your application reach CIO novascotia within the first week of July, mas okay if between July 1-3 bec mabilis mapuno quota ng nurse. last year wala pang August filled up na siya agad. You can validate it kahit ngayon and prolly send it 29th of June. Just make sure before 7th of July andun na siya. Goodluck

many thanks for the explanation. i guess need na lang namin maghintay for the new ministerial instructions before sending it. hopefully kasama pa rin yung NOC 1122 and walang additional requirements.

if the new ministerial instructions are announced earlier and the requirements / eligible occupations remain unchanged, maybe we can send out our applications by the 29th since june 30 and july 1 are weekends (some couriers i asked confirmed that they deliver only during weekdays / working days). i think it's best to use DHL or UPS since those are known internationally.

i'm not sure if there's a negative impact if the principal applicant is unemployed as of the moment. if someone knows, appreciate it if you can share.

i've encountered some applicants before who by the time they submitted their apps they were unemployed but they met the required years of experience hence they were still rewarded with the highest point...just make sure lang na kapag sinabing within the last 10 years mo na meet ung experience or say 5 years, within that time frame pasok ka then you can still apply even if you are currently out of work...

do not worry, if ever CIC will issue new instructions, its effectivity will not be July 1, kaya safe pa rin ang applications niyo even if you send it now...

Good news para sa mga MI1 at pre-2008 na may initial processing na (iki-clear pa din daw kasi yung mga pre-2008 na wala pang decision kung ipoprocess o hindi) but bad news para sa magfafile this year. Medyo startling ito kung totoo nga. 

Let's hope every thing will go down fairly.
