PICTURES TAKEN FOR PASSPORT REQUEST! BUFFALO OFFICE, PLEASE HELP! :)

Hello everyone!  I am hoping to get some answers about questions that I have about the photos that I have to submit with my passport.  I called walmart and they seem to know what to do with the photos but I am confused about the date on the back of the photo...does it have to be PRINTED on the back or can it just be WRITTEN?  The few places that I have called have told me that they are unable to actually print the date on the back. 

I am going through the Buffalo office so if anyone has experianced this, please help!  Thank you!!

Im pretty sure you can just write on the back. Thats what I did with my work permit application (which was through Buffalo) , and it went through just fine.

If you cannot get anyone to stamp the picture, let them write it.
Include the receipt for the purchase of the pictures, it will show the company name and the date.

Mine were fine with a hand-written date.

When Walgreens did ours they did not write anything on the back! Is it too late for me to write the date on the back myself. I have the original receipts and everything.

Write the date, include a copy of the receipt it, will be fine.

Quite a few people have done this with no problem.
