We need to get the passport-like photos done, as my husband has his Immigration physical next Tuesday.  I know that from the guide they are not exactly like passport pics and very specific in dimensions... My husband went to a local pharmacy and AAA and both said that they couldn't do them exactly as specified.  Just wondering where others got there's done?  Any help is appreciated Smiley

Depends on where you live. If you are in New York City you can go here: http://www.doicamera.com/passport.html#doi

Also your local Sears may be able to do them.

I'm in Niagara Falls ON Canada... I'll check out Sears.

Still curious where everyone else did there pictures as so may "passport" places say they won't do these.

Thanks Smiley

I had mine done at Shoppers. I didn't even need to describe that the pictures where different size from passport. As soon as I said I needed permanent resident pictures he went to the back corner of the counter, pulled out a binder, and had the measurements there. I am guessing they have a lot of different measurements of photos to keep up with as the binder was fairly full. And he just had a stool to sit on, pulled down a white screen in front of where the milk would be, took a couple of pictures to be sure on measurements, then I waited and had my pictures in about 5-7 minutes. Very quick, nice service, and pictures were right both for the application and the ones I had to get later for landing (inland) for PR card later.

I realize I may be depicting myself as cheap here but I actually just had my husband take my picture and then had the size automatically adjusted by uploading it to one of those immigration photo websites. Then just downloaded that and ordered the prints off snapfish. Paid almost nothing for them. CIC has not said anything as of yet about them not being properly done  Tongue

I did ours myself as well, like ddobro2 had done. Except I did it all myself and just paid 9c at the Walgreens. We all got approved just fine ( I did my kids too for their Certificates of Citizenship).

Thank you everyone for your replies... I'm so glad some of you mentioned DIY as I'm going to save myself $$.  Yes there's a Shoppers one block from my house but costs $9.99 for two... I need 9 (5 for the medical and 4 for the PR app)... so $50 seems crazy to me.

I did a little research and someone suggested IdPhoto4you.com and OMG, IT'S FANTASTIC!!!  I did it within SECONDS and will cost me less than $1.  AWESOME!

Hi, could anyone provide the specs for the PR card photo. I am waiting for the PPR and was just wondering, it will be better if I get the photos done already when I have to submit my passport for Visa, god knows when that will happen.
