Hey just wondering what photots people from the uk sent. The spec for the pics are the same as the passport photos yet at the top of the page it says that passport photos arent the same as visa photos so now im totally confused. Is it printed on different paper or something.
What photos did you send?

Yeah I was confused at first too as Canadian immigration photos are the same as UK passport photos.

I can only assume CIC state immigrations photos are not the same as passport photos because Canadian passport photos are twice as big.

We sent 8 "UK passport" size which conforms with the sizes required in Appendix B

Just take the spec sheet into a local photographers and get them to do the photos.

CIC are very strict about the specifications, especially the PR card photos. Canadian passport photos are a different size to PR photos.

The background is different.  The UK background is grey for passport photos whereas the specifications for the visa photos state you must have a WHITE background.  We got ours done at Jessops - quite pricey but at least it's correct...  Cool
