I will appreciate ideas from members about how to attach pictures of marriage etc. with the 'Sponsorship Application'. For example should I:
1. Put them in envelop with labels identifying family members and specific ceremony at the back of each photo OR
2. Put them in envelop and attach a sheet with details of numbered pictures OR
3. Just put them in envelops with little detail written over the envelop.
Thanking you in anticipation.

My wife was processed in Sao Paulo. We only included about a dozen photos. Had about three or four from the wedding,
a few of her family with me and a few of us together at the beach and so forth. Even included a few whimsical photos of
us being silly.
She was granted her PR in four months so I figure we did pretty good.
Good luck to you two!

Oh and btw, they were low quality prints I made at home, with three to four a page and a very short description.

I have mine printed out on A4 paper... I have descriptions underneath describing the situation and people in the photos in a chronological order.

we chose option 1 because our regional guides said to hand in originals proofs of the relationship (cards, photos, etc); so we printed them in a photo lab, made labels for each one and attach them on the back; on the labels we included a short description (e.g our first christmas together), who is in the picture (if not us, name and relationship to us), where the picture was taken, when the picture was taken and who took the picture; we sorted them by date or event and put them in envelope on which we wrote a general description

printing them 4 by page at home with some text under each one is fine too; it really depends on ur regional guides (the preference for ur specific embassy)

there r many ways and i don't think some r right or wrong; as long as the information is there, and u present it clearly it does not really make a difference how u present it; just see how it's easier and more confortable for you

It was Option 1 in our case, too. We had a lot of photos so once they were all labeled, we sorted them by date and put them into smaller envelopes that we then enclosed in one of those big ziploc bags. The labels were printed, and most read something like "9th May 2009: We took a trip to Smallsville with Bob and Sherri to enjoy the Smallsville festival. Picture taken in front of the grandstand." As missmini said, follow any specific instructions given in your regional guide and that should be fine. Remember for labels: no staples or paperclips, but stickers or tape on the back of the photos should be fine, as should writing directly on the back of the photos, as long as the ink dries before you pile them up Smiley

omg it looks u had lots of photos!!!!!!!! like us Roll Eyes did read ur other post abt sending them in 2 separate boxes; i congratulate ourselves for piling everything into one (it was not easy); i just hope they will find it in their mailroom (it's pretty visible)...we just sent it!!

and yeah no paperclips or anything; there r proffesional labels at stationaries, any size u want and there are specific label softwares (ms word also has that); if u have nice handwriting u can also write directly with a marker

good luck for all!!!!!!!

I'm putting mine in a microsoft word type document and printing them that way. under each photo will have a caption so it'll be like a time line.
Not sure if this will work for all regions though, my region said they just had to be loose and couldn't be in an album.

goodluck!

My husband and I made a "scrapbook" with sections for certain events (first meeting, trips, wedding etc.) and we also included a section of proof of our correspondence (letters, gifts sent). We put captions explaining each photo or set of photos. We had a lot of fun and even included a photo of us working on the pages Smiley Be creative, but make sure to follow any specific guidelines too (for example, our regional guide said no binders/books/albums so we just sent the pages as is and clipped them together.)

As a side note, does anyone know if we get all this stuff back?

The less effort you put in the application the more likely it's approved Tongue
