I had read somewhere on here that I needed to bring photos for the PR card when I land? Can I use the extra photos I have from when I sent 2 in with my passport for the visa, or is there different specifications?

They send you a link with specs with the PPR which gives you different dimensions than the ones you originallysent but on the Cic website there are new specs for the PR cards which... Are the same as the ones you sent originally lol.

This is a debate as to what size is correct as quite a few pics have been rejected for Buff apps.  So I emailed Buffalo and asked... The response I got was "We don't offer individual counseling".

How is answering a question sent through an email for questions considered counselling lol. I guess I just have to wait and see if the pics are accepted.  They have to be recent not older than 6 months.

Ok, so the ones you send in with the passport are the ones that they use for the PR card, or you have to provide more when you land and apply for the card?

The ones I originally sent with my application are the same dimensions they asked through the link in my passport request email.

Francis I have no clue at this point lol sorry. When we got our visa in Buffalo they asked for 3 photos and gave 2 back.  The guy at the border only wanted the COPR and didn't ask for pics.

Really?  Then use the same ones.  That's where I think the problems are occurring.  The ones we sent originally had the head measuring between 25mm and 30mm.  Our PPR link asked for the head to be 31mm and 36mm.
