Hi,

I need an urgent help for the photo issue of my PR. I got a mail in Nov 2011 that our photos are incorrect for the PR card. We sent them again in Dec 2011. Now my photo again came back. They however did not send my wife's photo back this time. Now I have given 30 days to resend the photo. Did this happen to anyone else too ? Does this mean that there are no issues with my wife's photo and she can get her PR ? I am the primary applicant.

Please let me know asap.

Yes I did followed the same but some how again it got rejected. The issue is I am in US and we don't get any studios which take canadian photos with the same specification. Also once PR cards are approved will they be sent through mail or they have to be collected in person ?

1. The pics r usually to be delivered 'in person'. Wasn't that written in their letter? If not, then u r good to mail it.
2. Any studio could print the pics to that specs -- there's nothing technical about it [for them].
3. The PRCs r mailed by regular post to ur Canadian address [not overseas] - delivered @ ur mailbox.

Thanks qorax. It is very difficult to tell the US studios or shops to explain about the specification as they don't know how to do things other than what is written in their manual or guideline. Anyways thanks for the info.

Then DIY. Scan it, resize it, print it and send it.
BTW, I did that for the PPR.

At wallmart you can take any size of pic you want, the computer does it all, take picture, adjust, rezise, print and cut on photo paper high quality and resolution, very cheap!
