do I have to send 4 or 8 photos...
I suppose that when cic and visa office ask for one form it is only sent one (although it is in both checklists) ie application form = 1 unit etc.
I do have a last minute doubt... about cerifiied copies or notarized copies. can a consul outside canda be considered able to certify them?

Hi Franne: I don't know the specifications of your VO checklist, but just follow EXACTLY what they ask for regarding number of photos. Look on the CIC website and it tells you there who is qualified to do certification.
Best of luck with the last strokes.

hi pippin
they ask for 4 pics (paris)
the question with the certified coipies still worry me.
the fact is that the copies were exactly certified in the manner they are asking for (by the consul in malaga)
the problem that canada and spain have no covenant for recognizing themselves this kind of documents...
we went to a notar that told us to go to the canadian consulate, as he can not provide us with the required certifications
thatīs why I am sending a lot of originals but some of them must be copies such as my universitary diploms and so on (just have one of them!!)
we will send the forms today. I consider that if a consul can not certify a copy of a document ... what a poor consul might be, otherwise it is a canadian in canadian soil (ha! thats a point) as I went to the consulate phisically so I can say I was in canadian ground.
cross fingers!
see ya
