Has anybody come across a case where the Immigration office (or officer) agreed to conduct a phone interview instead of the usual in-person interview. This is for a Fed skilled worker application made at Buffalo (& then transferred to Detroit). Medicals have been done.

Thanks guys for the replies.

I was hoping the IO would agree to phone interview as I think my case is in its last stages. I've already done my medicals & they have my current (canadian) employment letter. Still they want to interview me in US.

I know IO's have called before for other stuff like student & work-permit ( I myself once got a call for work-permit), but never heard of them calling for PR.
