i am in serious situation due to my consultant.
i applied under 3152 but now my consultant told me that my application is returned due to cap
when i was applying i requested to my cosultant that please include my experience in social worker NOC with 3152 NOC , he informed me that your experience in social worker is not related to your education , but now i came to know from this forum that relation between education and experience is  not essential.
Now i am preparing my application according to social worker NOC BUT I AM AFRAID that there may be -ve results because in my previous application i have not mention the experinece of social worker NOC
my fellows what you will suggest for me , i am in tension due to my consultant
i will be thankfull to you
thanks

Hi,
I do not have much knowledge but as I think they do not keep much record of the application to be returned.
But off course they will keep noc number and main applicant name and birth date,so may be u will be in trouble.

There are quite a chances that 3131 will be in next list. And as far as limitations to CAP not sure what will they be. but it is heard that point system may see some changes. Lets see.
The picture will  be clear in May and June.

4thJan2012

Prime Minister Stephen Harper is signalling more changes to Canada's immigration policy are in store.

In a year-end interview on CTV, Harper said, “We're ... going to try and find ways that we can make our immigration policy more activist in nature... We've got to do more in the economy of the future than just passively accept applications. We have to recruit people to come to this country, particularly when there are specific skill shortages that are developing.”

Harper's implication that Canada's immigration policies are not activist enough come as his government over the last few years, spearheaded by Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Jason Kenney, have introduced changes already aimed at more closely targeting skilled immigrants for economic purposes.

Recent changes to Canadian immigration policy have included more narrowly targeting a shrinking set of specific occupations, putting caps on who can get in under those occupations, and reducing, and in some cases outright closing off, some categories of immigration–like was done by putting a two-year moratorium on sponsoring parents and grandparents under the Family Class program. While other programs have benefitted from increased numbers, for example some of the Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs), which mostly facilitate immigration based on economic-criteria, have made up an ever larger proportion of the immigration to particular provinces.

The Canadian government admits that because of factors such as an aging population, and the coming wave of retirement that will soon ensue as a result, as well as a mismatch of skills between the native Canadian population and jobs that are coming online, immigration must plug the skilled labour gap which will be further exacerbated by these factors.

Harper was not specific on any changes his government would be making to current Canadian policies on immigration. However, since 2008, the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has been able to adjust the rules of any immigration program by issuing a new set of Ministerial Instructions, which they have done periodically, re-prioritizing the types of immigrants eligible to come to Canada each time. Issuing another set of Ministerial Instructions in line with Harper's comments would be a tool open to the government, which they have proved willing to do repeatedly in the last few years.

Hi Mayank
This is Gaurang from Australia

I have submitted  my file for canada on 17th of september 2011. I havent got any reply from CIC.

I have that CIC is returning the file for 3131 because it reached the cap.

People are saying that those who applied after 31 of august 2011 are not suppose to get the benefit for 3131 quota.

Pls help me out. Is it true that those who applied after 31 of august 2011 will get their file returned due to cap reached.

Pls reply

Yes i spend 45 days there.

As we all know that reg. proff. will take time & money to get in to Pharmacy.

So one have to start with survival jobs ( Gen. Labour jobs available plenty) & parallely study.

Most important is How much time survival stage takes.

One have to go there with flushing all past & start life there .

Regards
Mayank

Well said, mayankpandya.

If some going there with dream of getting pharmacy job right away is a mistake, Canadian registration process is so difficult like, EU and Australian, not easy. You have to be ready to face that, if you have some one to support will help a lot.

yes, we have to start from the bottom especially if money is not enough...as for me, i found a job as a pharmacy assistant on one of the independent pharmacies but under the umbrella of those big companies..this is a good start so that i will be exposed to the canadian pharmacy system..then have to enroll for the evaluating exam at the same time..its hard but if we are determined then we can surpass all these challenges...good luck to us all.

hi i want an advise since my bhabhi's noc is also 3131 and her application reached cic 27 oct and most probably she will get her application back in feb.at the time of submission she did not submit ielts result rather she refered the one which was sent previosly in 2010 application, as cic allowed 2 yr relaxation with copy and email of rejection.she gave ielts in aug 2010 which means according to 2 yr relaxation it must be expired in august , so if the category of noc 3131 remains open in 2012 will she refer the previous ielts result again or she should have to give ielts again?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh??
please advise any body having such experience.

As per my humble opinion.

IELTS should not be older than 2 year as of receiving date.

Make sure her application reach CIO on 1st week of july2012.
Moreover senior members can share their expert opinion.
