I am planning to apply for FSW from India. Has anybody applied using Public Provident Fund (PPF) account statement as "proof of fund"? Is it acceptable?

Dear All Seniors:
By education i am a pharmacist, I have an 8 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing. Currently I am working as a Product manager in a multinational organisation. According to NOC description by experience i fall under 1122 NOC category which has already reached the cap of 500 applications. I have few questions regarding NOC code 3131(Pharmacists). Under this NOC which is mentioned below for industrial pharmacist, i meet the duties that are highlighted in red. Can i still file my case under this NOC which has just reached 78 applications and have a chance of getting successful if i submit the case by the end of this month.
Industrial pharmacists perform some or all of the following duties: Participate in basic research for the development of new drugs Formulate new drug products developed by medical researchers Test new drug products for stability and to determine their absorption and elimination patterns Co-ordinate clinical investigations of new drugs Control the quality of drug products during production to ensure that they meet standards of potency, purity, uniformity, stability and safety Develop information materials concerning the uses, properties and risks of particular drugs Evaluate labelling, packaging and advertising of drug products Promote pharmaceutical products to health professionals.
Does it matter if i have different job title at my employer but the experience for duties highlighted in red do match my current role.
I would really appreciate your answers and guidance. Looking forward to have some good inputs from the seniors.
regards:
Sajeel

Dear Sajeels, As i am aware of role of Product Manager in PMT team. To be honest, it seems to me that it will be vary hard to convince CIO / VO peoples to accept it with 3131 NOC. Because in past some applicants got rejection with it. Again this is my personal views. Regards Mayank Dear All Seniors:

Dear Mayank, I am also in marketing team .. completed the m.pharm. I have prepared all the docs. The job responsibility match the criteria in NOC 3131 as highlighted in red. Why do you think it will rejected.

Dear Hasan, As i mentioned, this is my personal views. Reason is that job profile of Marketing / PMT is different in comparison with NOC : 3131. Merely matching some job duties ( i think last 2/3 duties ..) does not ensure main role of Pharmacist/Clinical Pharmacist. I think that's why in past applicants got rejection at CIO level. Regards Mayank

Dear Hasan:
Currently what is your job title, if your title is product manager than can you file your case under industrial pharmacist, cas in my case I am working as PM but the NOC title is different with few matching duties as mentioned earlier. Second where you from, what docs have you prepared, can you please share a list if docs to be sent for the first time. Third my IELTS score is L 6 = 2points, R 5.5 = 2 points, W 6.5 = 4 points, S 7 = 4 points overall 6 band which makes12 points, would this be ok as I am a borderline scorer I.e. 67 points.
Need your kind consideration and others are also requested to extend their valuable comments.
Regards
Sajeel

I'm also a Pharmacist and work in the Pharma Industry, but as a Medical Representative. SOME of my job duties fall under NOC 3131, but ofcourse not as a Pharmacist.
Some may say I DON'T fall under NOC3131 as this time.
So my question is, if I have 2 years experience as Med. Rep. + 6months experience as a Pharmacist, would that give me TOTAL experience under NOC 3131 combined? Therefore, total experience 2.5 years?

NOC - 3131 includes the following titles: clinical pharmacist community pharmacist dispensary department supervisor hospital drug information pharmacistdruggist health care institution pharmacist hospital druggist hospital pharmacist industrial pharmacist pharmacist pharmacist military pharmacist consultant registered pharmacist retail pharmacistyou might get into the bold ones, but there's a trick.. Employment requirements A bachelor of science degree in pharmacy is required.Pharmacists also require practical training under the supervision of a pharmacist. Licensure is required in all provinces and territories for community and hospital pharmacists. for more info try this: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2006/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=3131

I'm no senior, but the thing is, it really doesn't matter what the job title is as CIO only look for the main duties under the NOC [personal experience]. so I do not think there's a problem applying under NOC-3131, if current JD matches the main duties of NOC-3131. hope it helps!!

Sorry to tell u that medical sales rep. And pharmaceutical sales and marketing peoples comes under another noc. Frankly speaking it is very hard to qualified as a pharmacist with medical sales rep.
