Hi I have a bit confusing situation with my work permit right now.

I graduated from University (2-year diploma program) almost 2years ago
but I only got 1year and a few months PG work permit because of my passport expiry date.
Then I applied temporary work permit instead of extending PG work permit because I thought anyway I only could've gotten a few months extension on PG work permit since I attended the school only for 2years.

However now I realized that I could get 3years according to the cic website because I went to school for 2years, and so IF I COULD, I would like to apply for the extension on my PGW which has already been expired because of my current employment situation.

Is this possible now to extend the old PGW since I was supposed to have the permit valid till next year in September?
Or is it impossible because the old PGW has already been expired and I already got new work permit which means that the PGW lost its validity?

Please help me if you or somebody you know had the same situation with me before.

No, the PGWP is a one shot deal. You could have extended the original one because of the passport issue but now that opportunity is gone because you got a regular WP.
