Super post for super visa for super people!
My question sir:
I would like my father and my father and mother inlaw to apply. Can all three of them apply at the same time or is there any restriction on the number of people who can apply for SV.
Thanx

Yes, all the 3 can... but u'd have to demonstrate enough financial stability to support them too.

@ Sama, Ovais & Canada-Future
Reciprocated ur warm gesture.

Consultations on a Redesigned Parent and Grandparent Immigration Program

CIC is currently holding an online consultation to seek feedback on possible options for the re-design of Canada's parent and grandparent immigration program. As part of Canada's Action Plan for "Faster Family Reunification", the Government of Canada is taking action to address the growing backlog and 7-year wait times for sponsored parents and grandparents.

The consultation seeks feedback on how to manage intake of applications, and on options on what a modernized parent and grandparent immigration program could look like.

The online questionnaire will be available until May 25. So far, the online consultation has received close to 3,000 responses.

Why not?
As long as the sponsor (either of u) demonstrates his financial strength I don't see why ur mom's PGP-SV could not be thru.

thnk a ton bro for replying......Im so happy qorax sir gave me +1

Just to clarify..... on top of my bro showing enough financial assets to support himself and my mom......we also have to show considerable amount of money in the name of my mom to show ties with home country is it?

can property be shown in the PGP visa appln to show ties wid motherland.......I can't fathom how to show ties with ur homeland?

They say that the visa officer should be satisfied that parent will return back to his or her home country....how to show that proof? Plz clarify bro for me and many others stuck with tis doubt..

Property, fixed deposits, pensions, memeberships in any/many institutions (incl social & religious ones) etc. r some of the things that could construe typical residential ties towards ur homeland, vis-a-vis TRVs.
