 Thanks for the reply . I have few more queries about the personal address . Is it required to give exact addresses ? Can it be the company address for which i have worked ? or just the address where i stayed like rented accomodation ? Since i stayed at many placed so it is necessary to specify all the places with addresses .Some of them i may not even remember . Do i need to get police clearance for all of them in future ?

It is good to have exact address. I gave addresses from my pay stubs. Yes you need to get PCC's from U.S. states where you have resided for a period of 6 months or more since turning age 18.

Yes. You need to give the exact address. Your address can be tracked for a given period of time from Driving Permits, Credit Card Statement, Bank accounts etc. Hence you should give address even if you stayed there for 1 month.

Everyone knows that you cannot stay in a commerical address.

Yes, if you will be required to give PCC for all the locations where you stayed for more than 6 months.

I had stayed in Bangalore at two different place for 3 years . It would be difficult to me to get PCC sitting in US . Anyways i am going to give the real address for sure.

You can apply for India PCC at Indian embassy in USA. You dont need to get PCC for each place you stayed in INDIA.

State PCC requirement is for US only where in addition to FBI check, you are also supposed to get PCC from every state where you resided over six month. For Home contry only one India PCC will suffice.
