Hi,

I am a permanent resident of Canada and planning to get my wife to Canada. She is an Indian citizen residing in US on work visa. I want to apply for her canadian immigration so that she can live with me in canada.
I would like to know if I can bring her in visitor visa and then apply for her immigration? In that case will she be able to stay in Canada till she receives her immigration?

Thank you.
