I landed on May2, 2011 and to date, have not received my PR card yet.
Does anyone have any experience with timelines on when you get your PR card?
Not sure if the mail strike affected things. Should I be calling CIC?

Thanks for any and all advice!!

The strike probably did affect things. I know a girl who landed in mid april and only got hers a couple of weeks ago.
Current wait time is 43 business days, almost 9 weeks!

Have you tried calling the call centre? They might be able to tell you whats going on.

So glad I called CIC - Its been almost 3 months since I landed and no PR card yet.
I called CIC yesterday, and was told that my PR card had not even been processed yet. The
Call center agent said she would send notice to CIC to start processing my card. Hopefully they
will get started and I will get my card soon. Just an FYI for those who haven't received their card months after landing
