Hi.....

Plz help on this...........

I have submitted my Husband's permanent resident application on September 2010. after that Colombo visa office had called for an Interview on November 2011 & inform submit re-medical reports also. after 01 month they have received medical reports & they have requested to pay landing fee also. Now everything done by our side but still they didn't inform either our application has approved or rejected. so kindly advice us how along they will take for finalize & again will they call for an interview or require any documents.

Seems your husband's application has been approved. What does ECAS say about the current status of his case? Decision made?

If you click on In Process, can you copy and paste here the more detailed information?

Hi..........
see below status which they have uploaded on site......

""We received your application for permanent residence on October 02, 2010.
We started processing your application on November 30, 2011.
Interview scheduled for November 15, 2011.
Medical results have been received."

Sorry, no comments on exactly how much longer it's going to take... CHC Colombo is a very slow visa office... But as it's been about a month since you've sent your second medical, I think it's another month or two maximum for you to wait to receive the letter saying, "We are pleased to advise you that your application has been approved and we are ready to issue your permanent resident visa"... Don't worry. The medical and ROPRF fee payment requested  = 99.99999% sign of a favourable decision.

You're welcome. I've been in your shoes, so I know exactly how it feels to wait in uncertainty... Very frustrating sometimes.

My close family got their PR (inland) a few weeks ago, but their eCAS status still hasn't been updated to reflect it... So, eCAS can be slow too...
