They confirmed mine was made and there were no issues with it (such as picture or signature); just that it was collected for quality control. So maybe if yours wasn't made it will come soon.

You should call the call centre and ask them. Although 30 business days is the norm, I was told my husband's card was selected with a whole batch of other carda for addirional quality control measures. They said this additional check could take a few more months. Its a way of them auditing the work of the employees that make the cards. Btw my husband landed on 13th April 2011. This is the answer we got from the call centre on 3rd June 2011.

Thanks. I called them this morning, and they told that my card has not been made yet. I can expect to recieve it by the end of June!

And in today's update, CIC has increased the processing time to 40 business days - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-card.asp

So now I need to make alternate travel plans...so frustrating!!
