Hi All

I am in confusion and need advice.  Please help.

I Have Bachelor degree and i have one year experience as Insurance sales representative (worked in Toronto) on open work permit after I studied in Toronto.
now I got a job as Retail Trade Supervisor in Calgary, AB with Approved LMO and work permit for one year.

I came to Calgary to start job but employer said he does not want to hire me anymore because work permit took long time and they hired somebody else already.

Now My question is that  Am I still eligible to apply for Permanent Immigration in Canada. Will this JOb letter, positive LMO and work permit help me in P.R?
Can I stay in Canada or not untill my work permit is valid?

What is the solution for this?

I read this site http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/supperimm.shtml and think that I can apply for P.R even If i don't have Job with the same employer.

Please suggest what to do, I am confused.

Thanks
