Hey I have filed an application for immigration in New delhi in Sep 2006. I have got my file number in Oct 2006. Recently, I have got the permanent job in Montreal ( Quebec) for two year on Temporary work Permit but this permanent job offer and I am payrolls of the company. I would like to know, is it possible to claim points of Arranged employment and that can help me speed my federal application process in India.

Please suggest with your replies. Thanks.

hello,

yes, you must inform the embassy of the recent development, they will probably ask you to submit to them the job offer approved by the HRDSC / positive LMO.

Or you can pursue this thru the dual intent policy - you can leave your application as it is and apply for a new visa (working visa). This , in my opinion, will land you to Canada sooner. Cheers!

It depends on which category you applied in.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information...

Choose the category and then scroll down to LONDON.
Skilled worker (federal) from UK is currently taking around 3 years to be processed.

skilled worker applications from USA are taking 2 years.
