Hi,
My situation is as given below.

Holding business visa with multiple entry option valid till 2016.
Visited canada with invitation letter showing business meetings for 1 month.
However there are couple of meetings and discussions which can take again 1 more month.(this exta assesment happend after coming here).
My stay and per diems are given by host client and I am getting salary in home county.
In this scenario should I travel back to home country ( INDIA) and come back again with new inviteletter.
or As canada B1 allows for 6 months can I extend current visit without any notification.
If so do I inform embassy or imigration peoples.

kinldy please advise

If when you entered Canada and received a stamp on your passport, there was no other date written except the date of your arrival then you're good to stay for 6 months. You can apply for an extension if you need to stay longer. Application for extension is sent to CPC-Vegreville.
