I have already got the PER by email.

However the ECAS says a postal mail has been sent on the same day where I received my PER by email. To this day I have not received any post from CIO. What does the post usually contain after the PER.

PER notification is through e-mail. There is a note on ecas which states that they have sent you a letter on xxx date, they are only refering to the PER e-mail. Please dont expect any mail in connection with PER, cos u wont get any.

Hi Guys,

I have received my application packet back today 31 Oct 2011. My application was submitted from India took 7 days to reach and was received by CIC on 13 Jul 2011. The letter from CIC in the packet intimating that application cap was reached was signed on 06 September 2011 (almost 2 months for the packet to reach me). I am happy that i atleast received my packet/documents and cheque back.

Very disappointing indeed. But it was to have followed the discussions here. Any ideas how one can get a job in 1122 to apply afresh bypassing the cap.

regards
Ganesh

 @ mandiebraxton

Thank you very much. I was expecting a mail for for than a month by now; even inquired the local post office.

Now what is the next step. Do they send the documents to the local visa office or what is the procedure.

Join this discussion and go through the previous posting

it will be helpful.

Or join the AEO link in the main page.

I know its very frustrating after collecting all these documents and when you get it back. No issues; if possible try to apply under some other category.

Finding a job to apply may be one of the hardest thing. I am not discouraging you but thats what I hear. Yet dont give up hope.
