i think it will be harder, especially for those who live far from Manila. i am from Laguna so I have to be there very early to make sure I get a slot, whereas if I have prior reservation, I just need to be there 30 minutes before to complete the registration.

Same here.. My hubby has to travel 6 hours to manila to attend cfo seminar and as there is no reservation anymore he really has to be there early |

hello po.. sa mga magaatend ng pdos dapat po nandun na kayo by 5 am[/color].. as in.. galing na po kame don nung monday.. di kme nakaabot <nakarating kme don mga 9 am  > kse may cut off po cla n up to 70 persons lng ang pwedeng makapasok <  :o5 am plng may nakapila n>.. kaya tuesday nlng kme nagpdos.. gling p nman po kme sa pamapanga.. nakakainis po yng cfo n yn kse la man cla nilagay na may cut off cla tpos di p cla matawagan s hotline nila..   dame ngreklamo tlga sknila.. kaya my advice to all of those who will attend pdos better be early po..   |

Question lang po regarding CFO/PDOS thing...I just received my visa in manila and I am currently here in UAE. Do I need to attend to this CFO/PDOS thing even I am already here in UAE? Can I just go directly from here or do I need to go back to manila and fly from there?

Wow,....so I've been studying and reading this site and all sorts of forms to fill for a month now, everyday, hours a day.....and I've only heard of this now.
Can someone please provide me information about this?
I am hoping to bring my partner to Canada when/if our application is accepted. Once it's accepted will we have to go through this procedure also?
I thought once she has the visa if she shows up at the airport as long as she has a Canadian PR Visa she would be allowed to leave?

If your partner is in the Philippines then she is required to attend the counseling at the CFO. After the counseling, a CFO sticker will be affixed to her passport as proof that she fulfilled this requirement. At the NAIA/airport, when she passes through the Bureau of Immigration counter they will check her declaration form and if her passport has this sticker. If there's no sticker, she will not be allowed to board her flight/plane.
It will only take a day at the most, it's purpose mainly is to register Filipinos who are emigrating.

i dont think so....basta jan ka na dederetso at di ka na uuwi ng pinas di mo na kelangan ng pdoc/cfo....dito lang kase sa pinas yan..... |
