if someone has criminality  check x

For example, PCC has to be checked / verified  from other than his own country x Suppose one guy has
applied  his case from india and he works in suadi arabia , he got saudi pcc and submit it in  india CHC  as part of his criminality check  x if officer has to get it checked / verified from suadi arabia x he will send it  first "CSIS" and  than CSIS officer will get checked x  is it like that  x

But the question is how  long it takes  to complete the verification  step x

waiting for your reply x

There is no exact time frame for the background checks or security checks. It varies to different applicants according to their foreign travels and stays out side their home country. Some times it may be completed  within a couple of months but may delay further more also. So a perfect comparison study is not possible in such cases.

Quite often CIC doesn't reCheck the PCC at all & accepts it on it's face value. Unless it's coming from some dubious region. I understand what u r implying. My advice to u is: Don't do it.

Hi Qurox,

I would need one helping information from you. My wife has born & bought up in saudi arabia as an expatiate (i.e. under the work permit of her father).
After completing her grade-12 from there, she came back to India for higher educations...then she crossed her 18. She oftenly used to go to saudi to see her parents... typically for 2-3 months. However, only one she stayed there for 6months and 7 days.... Smiley

Now, we know that as per CIC rule, she has to submit her PCC from saudi. We called our local Saudi Embassy in New Delhi, they said process is straight forward but may take up to 2-4 months (timeline is not guarateed). In addition, her brother is still there in the same city of KSA (got job & working). So, can he initiate it there locally & get it faster? If so, where should I look for a steps involved?

She never worked there as full time contract employee.... so do you think VO will ask her to produce the PCC for Saudi?
If so, is there anyway we can request for waiver?

Any guidelines, would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Cheers,
Shadab

U r lucky, that her brother is still there @ KSA. Firstly, ask him to visit the City CID & take it from there. If they agree, it'd be a lot easier & faster. If not, the consulate is your only way.

Thanks Brother !!! Smiley
I will ask him to go there once atleast to find out the process & time ?

BTW - I guess they will still need a Request Letter from the CHC/CIC... this I can only get after receiving the file#.

Do you know how long will it take to get my file no. / 1st AOR (CIC) ? i sent under POST26/6 process.
