Hi I am a pr June 25 applicant and my PCC was valid before applying to CIO now I have recieved AOR and now the PCC is older than 6 months, the problem is that I have spent time in the USA and getting PCC from there takes good 4 months now I am worried that by the time I get a fresh PCC my deadline of filing the complete documents would have expired. Should I submit my old PCC which was valid at the time of initial application or just dont file the complete application with documents I am too worried please help me in this regard so I can go ahead with my application. Thank you

You shouldn't use the old PCC. Make sure the PCC issued is less than 3 month old at the time VO is processing your application. Apply for your PPC today, don't delay. Even though your timeline for submitting your PCC is expiring, update your VO about the ETA date & they will extend the time for you or waive off Smiley.

thanks a lot for your reply but you know this FSW is too confusing they have different information's on different levels at point they say that PCC should not be 3 months old at the of application to CIO and they say that PCC should not be older than 3 months at the time of sending full documents to VO. I don't know what information should I follow and why are they making it so confusing. I will appreciate for any other suggestions. Thank you

Hi Khan,

If your PCC is not older than 3 months from the date CIO received your application then they are valid and you can submit those PCC. As your application was received before 26th June so you come under the old rules and under old rules PCC should not be more than 3 months old from the date CIO received your application because of the new changes cic has updated there website so thats why its getting difficult for old applicants.

Cheers

kkhan, Saki is correct.  Submit your PCCs.  If they want a new one, they will request it.

This also applies for Ielts right?  If it valid when applying to CIO according to old rules,  it will be valid throughout whole process right?

Thanks Saki,  great info.  When sending documents to visa office for pre June 26 applicants,  if changes have been made to applications,  you have to use the NEW application forms and the most recent V.O. checklist right?
