Hi! Just a quick question - we acquired a PCC for my partner here in Panama... it's just a letter stating that she's never been charged with any civil or criminal charges, signed by the director of the justice department and notarized. It's valid for 90 days... is this the PCC we should be sending with the application, or is there something special that the canadian government will request either from us or on their own?
Thanks!

Thanks very much ariell! I assume, then, that they'll request at least one new PCC before the application is done processing (inland, 11.5-13.5 months), right? do you know if we'll need to get one from Canada as well, as that's where we'll be until the app is complete?
Thanks and good luck to you! :)

Well I'm not as familiar with the inland process since we did an outland application, but I can't imagine that they would ask for a 2nd PCC -- there would be no point since there would be nothing new to report given that your partner is here in Canada, not Panama. You do not need to get a PCC from Canada. They will do their own background check. Good luck!
