PCC Pakistan (Confusion)

Hi

I am about to submit my documents as my wife is sponsoring me. I made the PCC from my hometown from where my ID card was issued. The PCC says that there are no issues against my record in my home town police station only.

Now i am hearing from different people that i need to make PCC from Lahore also where i studied for 4 years in UET.
The i worked in Islamabad for 9 months. So i need another PCC from Islamabad also.

Is it true? Has anyone submitted PCC for each city?

yea you need to submit the police reports if youve lived in a place for more than 6 months

I don't think that is correct. You  need a PCC from each country that you've lived in for 6 months or more, not from each city that you've lived in within that country. The PCC's from India are also city-specific but that is simply how it's done. You don't need a PCC from each city. We just sent the PCC from the city that my husband was from and it was no issue. Details on obtaining PCCs from Pakistan are here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/pakistan.asp There is no mention of obtaining one for each city that you've lived in.

             No need to do more inquieries whatever is availble on internet is different from facts ..........I told u already that I have received mail from embassy asking 4 Police character certificate from 18 years of my age onward of every place where I lived within PAKISTAN so there is no CONFUSION at all in my mind ateaslt ........................ but still if u wanna try ur decision??? However they will ask 4 the sam without any doubt n then it will delay ur case by minimum 3months as in my case
